Spring Vale Vineyards is a small family winery, situated on the Freycinet Coast just north of Swansea, producing intense examples of Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay.
Spring Vale has established a reputation for consistently producing wines which reflect the pristine environment in which they are grown. The greatest hours of sunlight in Tasmania is one of the conditions giving Spring Vale wines their intensity and structure.
One of the features of the property is the original convict-built stable dating back to 1842 which is now used as a cellar door and sales room.
Made from 69% Chardonnay, 24% Pinot Noir, 7% Pinot Meunier. 26 months on lees. Complex aromas of lemon, grapefruit and fresh dough. A dry, savoury palate with a very long stylish finish. Classic aperitif style sparkling.
